| ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED... |
While registering for Canada's Only 1/4 Marathon online is now closed it is still not too late to register. You can register for the Durham 1/4 Marathon by visiting our kiosk at the Oshawa Centre located just south of the information booth near the centre of the mall. We will be accepting registrations until Friday at 9:00 pm. We are also accepting race day registrations but to avoid delays and line-ups we encourage you to vist the kiosk in the Oshawa Centre.

9:00 am - Canada's Only 1/4 Marathon Start [location - Midtown Mall Parking Lot]
9:45 am - 3K Walk Start Time [location - Lakefront West Park]
10:30 am - Awards Ceremony [location - Lakefront West Park]
11:00 am - Shuttle Bus Service to Midtown Mall begins
11:00 am - Kids 1k Scamper Event Starts [location - Lakefront West Park]
11:30 am - See You Next Year - Sat. July 25, 2009

| GET READY FOR CANADA'S ONLY 1/4 MARATHON... |
Registration is now open for Canada's original and only 1/4 Marathon. The Durham Quarter Marathon will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in Oshawa, Ontario and will see improvements over last year. The total distance of 10.549km will be run along the scenic and picturesque Oshawa Creek trail as well as the Waterfront Trail system. The trail systems are completely paved.
Listen to what past particpants said about the Durham 1/4 Marathon:
- 60% of participants rated the entire event a 5 out of 5. The remaining 40% ranked it as a 4 out of 5
- 65.5% ranked the course a 5 out of 5. 31% gave the course a 4 out of 5 and one person gave it a 3 out of 5.

| WIN $10,000... |
New this year ... WIN $10,000 by guessing the correct finish time of the runner who is the 25th person to cross the finish line. The first 500 people to register will receive a ballot to guess the correct time. If you ballot is chosen and you guess the correct time you will win $10,000!!!

You can register for the Durham 1/4 Marathon by soliciting sponsors/donations online or by downloading a registration form. Visit CanadaHelps.org and have your sponsors designate their gift to the Durham 1/4 Marathon in honour of yourself. You will be credited for the amount raised.

| Technical T-shirts (dry-fit) to first 500 Registrants |
Forget cotton ... this year again the Durham 1/4 Marathon will be giving out technical t-shirts to the first 500 participants. With a race date at the end of July, dry-fit shirts are almost essential. So register today before it is too late.

| HELP HOMELESS YOUTH THROUGH THE DURHAM 1/4 MARATHON |
100% of the proceeds of the Durham 1/4 Marathon will go to support the work and programs of The Refuge, a registered charitable organization that seeks to bring hope, love and change to homeless and street youth in the Durham Region. Last year The Refuge assisted 608 different youth 10,068 times. As the Durham 1/4 Marathon is being organized by The Refuge, there are no fees paid to organizers or event planners. 100% of all funds raised will go directly to support homeless and street youth. So help a homeless youth by registering for the Durham 1/4 Marathon.
